- Doug Larson (Rhythm Guitar) plays plays second fiddle to Owen Roberts searing guitar licks. But the fiddles are custom built 12-string electrics and nasty 6 string resonators! The job of the rhythm guitar player is to lay down tones that the rest of the music sticks to. And Doug does that while also backing up vocals. Doug is now retired from work so spends his time writing music, building instruments and raising pet goats.

Owen Roberts (vocals and guitar) is the other half of the GMOs guitar package, anchoring slide guitarist Doug Larson's soaring lead lines with chunky rhythm and melodic hook lines of his own. He and bassist Rob McLean trade off lead vocals, often in the same song -- on originals such as Burnin' Up and covers such as The Weight. Owen says Telecaster master Roy Buchanan is his favourite guitarist...so why then does he mostly play a Les Paul Custom and a Mexican Strat with the GMOs? Still searching for the right Tele, we guess. Owen formed the GMOs in 1999 with drummer Len Kahn, who needed someone to front a pre-millennium party...and ended up with Owen!

Rob McLean (Bass and vocals) is the "new guy” in the band – even though he’s been with The GMOs since 2002. He’s also the youngest – but he doesn’t rub that in anyone’s face (and by the time someone’s passed 40, it doesn’t matter anyway). Despite age, The GMOs rock with the best of them, and Rob provides the low-end anchor for the band, while working with everyone in the band to co-write songs that everyone is genuinely proud of, and excited about. Rob also flips between bass guitars – between a Jaco Pastorius fretless, a fretted Fender Jazz Bass, or a Danelectro that contributes to an earthy country vibe on certain songs – Rob just enjoys writing songs and jamming with a bunch of good friends.
- Len Kahn (Drums) Len’s passion for music combined with a complete lack of interest in learning to read music led inexorably to one place – drums. Len contributes the ‘meat and potatoes’ backdrop to the GMOs sound – he hasn’t met the 4/4 song he can’t master. He’s also involved in song writing and producing with the band, but by majority vote is the only non-singing member of the GMOs.

The GMOs are (L-R) Doug Larson, Len Kahn, Owen Roberts and Rob McLean.
